Fantasy Suite Guarantee

After weighing pros and cons of the Fantasy's Cat 11 and Cat 12 suites, I just couldn't make a decision and went for the Suite Guarantee. For those of you that have done this, what did you usually end up with, the Cat 11 or Cat 12? I realize the Cat 11 has six suites with obstructed views, but its a chance i am willing to take. Just wondering what my chances are of getting either a nonobstructed Cat 11 or the Cat 12 penthouse. Thanks!

It depends on how many of you there are.

 

We did the suite guarantee on the Paradise back when it was a non smoking ship.

 

The Cat 11 hold a maximum of 3 people. With myself, my wife and 2 kids, I was assured by the TA that Carnival would NOT put us in an 11 as they only sleep 3. Lo and behold, we got the Cat 12.

 

If there are only 2 or 3 of you, I'd say you'll probably end up with a Cat 11. The quads most certainly will get the Cat 12 cabins.

 

Although the Cat 11 are smaller than the Cat 12, it's still the only way to get a balcony on the Fantasy class ships.
