Can one pre-arrange a shipyard visit? I'll be in Venice and I would like to see the Marghera factory. Anyone ever do this?

TopSecret? While I've not been to Fincantieri and can't answer your question directly, last summer we were in northern Germany and took a factory tour of Meyer Werft. Norwegian Jewel was nearing completion (Indoors!) and they had just begun Pride of Hawaii. There was a nominal charge for the narrated tour which was in German. But there were no secrets to see!

 

Suggest you go to the Fincantieri website, see if there is an English link and then see if it says anything about tours. If not, send an e-mail in simple English.
