Xpedition internet

We are on the Xpedition this June and wondered if there was internet access. I've searched previous posts but the last one on the subject appears to be in 2004 when the reply was that there was no internet - hopefully there is now.

There is internet access on the Xpedition. There are two laptops available (you have to ask guest relations to put them out). The connection is very, very slow and does not work all the time. Guest services does put out a daily New York Times news sheet for those who are interested in the headlines, business and sports news.

The keyboard is in Spanish. That doesn't cause too many problems if you are a touch typist because the key layout is the American version. Unfortunately, though, the labels on some keys don't match what they actually are.

I'm curious as to what date you are taking your trip? We are on the June 4 sailing and will arrive in Quito on June 2.

We (family of 4) are coming out from the UK on 16 June, via Madrid to Quito, and sailing on 18 June. We're then going on independently to Cusco and Machu Picchu.

In our case we would disagree with an earlier post about doing MP first as don't fancy having stomach problems on a trans-Atlantic flight back to the UK!!!
