This will be my 3rd cruise and it is in October, hurricane season :eek: . What is the best way to go about acquiring travel insurance? Can I get this thru my homeowners/auto insurance agent? If not is there a reputable company that anyone can recommend? Also, what does Travel Insurance generally cost, and what does it cover? Any suggestions would be helpful!

We used the insuremytrip web site to price and compare different policies. This way you can choose exactly what you want coverage for.

You can also purchase this through your homeowners insurance or your TA. Possibly from the cruiseline. You just need to do a little research on the net and the boards. There are several threads devoted to trip insurance.
