Grand Bahama - Is this Nassau?

Looking for FUN things to do!!! Any party boats here? Any suggestions? Leaving Sunday from Baltimore - Grandeur of the Seas.

Freeport is the main city on Grand Bahama Island, Nassau is the Captial of New Providence, about 80 miles apart. Paradise Island is just across the harbour from Nassau, connected by a pair of bridges.

 

Don't know much about partying in Freeport. Perhaps someone else can answer your question.

 

Nassau is more of the "party" town.

So I take it that stopping at Grand Baham Island...means you cant go to Atlantis for the day, huh?

 

Im pissed because I coulda swore that my itinerary originally included Nassua, NOT Grand Bahama Island. I was really excited about going to Atlantis. (Im on VOS from Bayonne July 16th and I booked it like 6 months ago)

 

On the RCCL site they say that Grand Baham Island has 2 casinos...anyone have information on them. Are they nice? Worth visiting? Any fun?

Atlantis is no big woop IMO. Vegas hotels are just as nice.
