39august Posted June 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2004 Can anyone give me some information about chardonnays and cabernets that are available in Vintages and some approximate prices? Can you purchase by both the glass and the bottle? I understand the wine list is much better than in the dining room.
AdrieneAGD Posted June 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2004 I think I saw where someone posted a link where someone scanned in the "menu" for Vintages a while back... I can't remember where it is, unfortunately. :(
DedeM Posted June 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2004 I can't remember what they had. The prices were fair, IMO - like a restaurant. The only things I thought were excessive were their champagne prices (in their champagne bar). In Vintages, they had all kinds of sampling combos too. So you could pay like $10-25 and try 4 different wines they suggest. There were plenty of wines to choose from though. I hope you find a menu, but it was a lot of pages (not one of those pages with 100 wines listed on it LOL), so I'd be surprised that someone got their hands on it. It's like a small thin book. DedeM Posted June 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2004 oops, forgot... you can purchase most of them by the glass too.
lisajoy Posted June 24, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2004 I just watched a special on cruises and it said it was a waste of money to purchase vintage bottles while on a cruise. Wine has to be in a climate controlled room also motionless.
