Jones Act

Have read mention of Jones Act. Where would I go to read the Act for myself? I understand the gist of it so would like to read it for myself.

I'm not sure this is really the right forum for this, but here goes anyway.

 

As you'll see from this article and this article, it's not really the Jones Act that you're after for cruising purposes. (The formal title of that Act is Merchant Marine Act 1920.) You're really looking for the Passenger Services Act 1886.

 

I couldn't find it in itself, but the location of its provisions in the United States Code is this chapter.

Globaliser, I asked this on another thread and someone referred me to this link http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=51118 which someone had previously posted. Thanks for the clarification that it is the Passenger Services Act I was really referring to.
