Little Magens Bay (St Thomas) or Solomans Bay (St John)

Having been to Solomans Bay on St John several years ago, I wanted to find out if anyone has been there recently and what the conditions were for nudity now. Also, I have heard that Little Magens Bay on St Thomas was nice as well, so I wanted to find out if anyone has been to either recently and what it was like.

My partner and I were at Little Magens a few times during a week on St Thomas in late March. Construction continues on the house just above Little Magens, but workers had no objection when we skirted work areas to get to the beach path.

 

Beach is still nice, very private and uncrowded-- gets a local crowd afternoons, small amount of straight traffic from local villas, some cruise passengers who walk over from Magen's Bay Beach.

 

We enjoyed the "rock walk" over to the other secluded beaches up the shore. Nudity is still ok at Little Magen's, but hard core naked tanners tend to move onto the rocks- less chance of being disturbed by disapproving passers-by.
