Which ship for 10 day cruise?

We want to go on a 10 day cruise to the southern Caribbean next February or March. The only 2 ships I could find were the Sun Princess and the Galaxy. We are looking for ship with a balcony. Has anyone been on these ships lately? I hear they are a bit rundown. I have been on the mega-ships, Summit, Millennium, and this year, on the Caribbean Princess. I did go on the Century and enjoyed the size. Thanks for any info

Which ports most interest you? I absolutely love the ship and itinerary with RCI Brilliance of the Seas "Panama Canal" sailing, alternating 10 and 11 days, including Aruba.

We went to the the Panama Canal last year. This year we went to the eastern Caribbean.

Went on the Sun Princess in Oct 2005 and it definitely was not run down. We enjoyed it very much. Did not have a balcony so can't comment on that. Our room was very nice though.
