You'll only port at Mo Bay. Grand Cayman and Cozumel are both tendering ports at this time. Sometimes it's questionable whether the ship will stop at Grand Cayman. If the seas are rough, tendering may not be safe.

Excursions booked through the ship get priority tendering. Since you've booked on your own, you'll have to get a tender ticket. What time is the ship scheduled to arrive in Grand Cayman?

We just got off the Conquest yesterday (GREAT TIME). We had a 9:15 a.m. scheduled time for Nativeways and had no problem at all getting there WAY ahead of time. We had to go to the lounge to get a tender sticker. Got the sticker and got right on a tender. The tenders we had held about 300 people in Cayman and Cozumel.

Did Conquest change the ship time to match port time? I've read reviews in 2005 where Conquest changed all clocks before docking in Jaimaca, but the 2006 reviews indicate that the time change is only referenced in the Capers and that the ship stays on CST.

We loved Nativeways. We ended up having a "personal tour" as the other group did not show up so this worked out great for our family. They were VERY accomodating. Ship did not change time to match port time, but I believe the ship time was the same time as Cayman as we did not have to change our watches.

How did you like NativeWays? We are going on the Conquest next April and have been looking at Captain Marvin's. Any thoughts between the two?

Thanks.

We did Captain Marvin's "Swim with the Stingrays" in 04 and had a GREAT time! The best part was watching the ship booked excursions with like 150 ppl crammed onboard. We had like 8 on our boat. Personal service and much less crowded! One of the guides would lift a ray above someone's head from behind, when you do this the ray will 'spit' a goodly amount of water out, landing on the person's head. It is a great photo op.

Enjoy your trip, We did!!!

All ships have to tender at Grand Cayman - the Island is surrounded by a reef that will not let ships close.

In cozumel 1 ship per day can dock on the right side of the TMM International pier - RCCL and Celebrity get first rights at it however, since they arehave the contract to that pier.

This time of year the US and Mexico are on daylight savings time, GC and Jamaica are not. That makes ship time the same as local time in all three ports. In the winter GC and Jamaica would be the same as eastern US and Cozumel would be on central time, the same as the Conquest.

I was aboard the Conquest in Nov, and the ship's time was changed to port time, I can't tell you if this is still the case.
