what makes a cruise line luxurious?

agabbymama, my first cruise was in the mid-70's also on Carnival. It was with my sister, in an inside room that was no bigger than a closet. We were on the Festivale and I just rememeber it being fun. Now, 45 cruises later on all the mass market lines and the big four of luxury lines, I'm addicted to cruising. My longest cruise was 35 days on Crystal, Hong Kong to Dubai. I just returned from 16 days on Crystal from Buenos Aires to Miami. I also like Celebrity when I'm in the mood for a mass market line. Now, 10 day cruises seem too short for me. I have 5 more cruises booked on both Celebrity and Crystal for this year and next. For a single/divorced woman like me, it's the safest and easiest way to travel. I've been literally all over the world on cruises and it's something I won't ever give up.

Happy cruising !!!!
