Parking in New York

We're sailing from New York on the Legend in May and are planning on driving in a couple of days early to do some sightseeing. Does anyone know if we can park at the Cruise Terminal Parking lot in advance of the cruise?

 

Finding parking in Manhattan is challenging and driving around downtown New York is (to be polite) a pain.

 

We'd love to be able to abandon our car and taxi/walk around for a day or two. We only get a voice message when we call the parking lot and are afraid there won't be people there if a cruise isn't leaving the day we arrive.

:p Not sure if you can park ahead of time or not but try to call this # and maybe you can find out 212-641-4454. I do know that its $24. per 24 hours. Have a great cruise.

Hotels offer valet parking.

They don't check if you're sailing. They'll take your money though.
