Adeventure OTS; looking for swim-up bar

Recommended Posts

My husband is enthralled by swim-up bars like the one they have in Costa Maya. He feels they are the ultimate in luxury! Anyone know of any excursions or hotels we can visit on the Aruba itinerary of AOS that have a swim-up bar??

We stayed at La Cabana Resort when we were in Aruba years ago and there was a swim up bar at the pool that is located between the two buildings. I'm not sure of the status of La Cabana at this time as there was a sale of the property pending the last I heard, and I understand the casino on the property was closed.

No swim up bars on RCI ships, although photos of the solarium pool on the Freedom make it look like there are bar stools at one end of it. No sign of a bar there however.

I did a google search for each island. I was going to post what they were but there are a few on each island. Have fun searching. We loved the swim up bar on Carnival Destiny.

I can help. The Aruba Allegro Occidental has day passes for $45 and includes meals, unlimited access to pools, beach and alcoholic drinks. We even were allowed to use one of the hotel rooms to shower and change afterwards. They have a very nice, large pool with a swim-up bar - and unlimited alcohol!!! La Cabana is still operating, in fact, my brother-in-laws company is managing it while it is in bankrupcy. I don't know if they have a daily rate, but I can find out if you are interested. I loved their casino last time I was in Aruba, last year. I will be sad if it is closed. I'll have to ask.

See if there is a Sandals and call to see if they offer day passes :) They have swim up bars. We did one in St. Lucia and it was an awesome way to spend the day. They even had towels for use that day so we didn't have to drag the ships towels with us.
