That's awesome KF!!!! Are there typically FOD meetings on NCL? I just kind of learned about them. Do you have to put in a request for them?

Where are all of your huge party flying in from?!? It would be awesome to see you there!

One of the reasons we love NCL is that they regularly schedule FOD meetings on all of their ships - no need to request them. We've met lots of nice friends at the meetings.

We are flying in from New Orleans.

Definitely ready for this vacation!!!

Hope to meet you and your other half!!!

Anyone going on NCL Sun for Alaska on 5/27/06 or Western Caribbean out of New Orleans on 11/26/06?

Jeff and I will be on the Sun 11/26/06 voyage. We're from Vancouver, BC and will be flying in on the Sat for one night pre-stay.

Have you checked out the 'other' roll call Out of the Big Easy?

This will be our first cruise on NCL but have cruised many times before, mostly on Princess. We're looking forward to the Myan ruins in Guatemala and the cave tubing in Belize! And of course, a great beach day in Costa Maya and shopping in Cozumel [ah, shopping!].

KF, did you go to an FOD meeting? We went to the one on the first night and met up with some other lesbains... and then we made friends with two men later, who ended up living right next door to us!

I wrote a small review in the NCL Roll Call thread... what did you think?

JEN.

Sorry we missed you for the 1st fod meeting. We were busy with our group. We went to the second one and met 1 person. Later on the trip we met 2 guys from Nashville, and hung around with them as much as possible. As for as the food on the ship, we noticed a slight decrease in the quality and quantity. But we were informed that this will be a trend in all cruise lines due to the higher cost of operations and the new ship buildouts. As far as the kid situation....I try to book as far away from the area where they congregate as possible. I only saw them as a group twice on the ship.

SCHPLINKY.

As I said before even though the quality of the food has decreased a little, it is still good and I didn't even come near to going hungry. LOL. The people on board .....let me see how I can say this ......A mixture of people from just about every walk of life. You enjoy some of them and take the others with a grain of salt...
