Assuming that the NCL Wind is sailing out of Canada Place in Vancouver yes there are great hotels very close to the dock. In fact the dock is in the heart of downtown Vancouver. You can stay at the wonderful Pan Pacific hotel whcih is actually right on top of the Canada Place cruise ship terminal - distance to cruise ship - short elevator ride. I have stayed in this hotel and it is wonderful unfortunately a little $$$$. There is also the Waterfront hotel accross the street.

Going further afield to save you some $$ there are many great hotels that range from the Hyatt to the Bayshore (Westin) to the Marriott tot he Delta to the REnnaisance etc.

Last summer, we stayed at the "Fairmont Waterfront". It is located right across the street from Canada Place, assuming that's where your ship is leaving from. There is another cruiseship terminal in Vancouver as well.

Fairmont Waterfront was a great hotel to stay at. We walked from there to Stanley Park along the waterfront and back. (Long and leisurely, stopping for lunch at a seafood restaurant along the way.) Bellman walked our bags across the street to the Norwegian Sun for us day of departure.

The Norwegian Wind will be berthing at Canada Place this year - usually on the west side of Canada Place - it was there this past Sunday.

Cheers from Vancouver

The Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, Renaissance, Pan Pacific and Fairmont Waterfront are a few of the good ones close by (with Pan Pacific and Fairmont Waterfront being the nicer ones of the group). There are several others also....
