melslush Posted June 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Are porthole rooms a bad choice? Thanks, Mel
Travelgirl23 Posted June 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Our friends had a porthole room and loved it. The portholes were much larger than I thought they would be. Like having two windows instead of one. Go for it.
Cotton Posted June 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2004 Some porthole cabins have one porthole, some have two. I've been in a porthole cabin, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the third cabin from the front of the ship. Great location, no hallway noise because no traffic up there. I felt no more motion there than I did when in a midship cabin. Go for it! woodman Posted June 29, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2004 We had a port hole cabin on the Inspiration last year. Room U10, Had a great time and loved the room. The port holes are very large with a ledge we both sat on and watched the water go by. Oh how I wish I were there now. Happy cruising.
