What Is the LATEST you can disembark?

Hi,:) I know most folks who book earlier flights want to be off

the ship first..PRONTO......but in my case, I am not leaving Seattle

till 11:30pm:eek:

I have my plans for the day/evening but was just curious.

If I want to be one of the very last people off....is that possible?

Should I go to Guest Services PRONTO;) and see about it?

I would love to be able to hang out on the ship for most of the

morning......is that at all possible?

I definitely don't want to be in those "first groups".

Any help from anyone who has all that experience would be

welcomed!

Hi Lois,

I tried that on our last cruise. I told them that I would like to get off as late as possible and they had the info that our plane did not leave until 4:00. Our group had to leave the ship at 9:30. However, you know a lot of people on board, so I can see you getting to stay on longer. I know that you can do it.

Hi Lois !

I would say 10 am or so is the latest. Or, you can try hiding out somewhere :). As Judy said, maybe if you run into some old friends, maybe they can work something out for you.

Why not take a day trip of Seattle ? It is a very beautiful city.

In order for the ship to receive clearance, disembarking passengers (other than those in-transit) must debark at the proper time. It holds up the ship from receiving new passengers.

Unless debarkation is held up, 9:30am is the magical time.

Another cruise line I was on lately made an announcement--"All remaining passengers are requested to disembark at this time. " Guess that would let you know your time had come!

LOIS: You should get a couple staff friends to accompany you off the ship--kicking and screaming;dragging your feet, etc. It would make a great ending to the next week's video!!:D

Hi Lois, Since we have been driving to the ports for the last 2 years we go for breakfast and then to the pool deck and sit to wait out the announcements with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view.

We wait for the last color to be called and then get off with that group. The upside is that our luggage is sitting all by itself in our color section since we get priority desembarkation and it's a matter of minutes to get the luggage, a porter, and we are on our way. I don't believe we are causing any problem since we are always the only ones sitting there. Try it out. ;)

I didn't think about the luggage benefit...great idea as I am never in a rush that day

Thanks for all the replies:)

I figured it would be somewhere in the 9:30 hour.

Andy, I am going to do either sightseeing, touring or something;) or

both. I can leave my luggage at the pier till 4. They City Concierge Service has

secured lockers~3.00 per bag:) pretty good deal!

Actually one of the nice folks from these boards told me

there is a Memorial Day festival starting that day too. May 26-29

weekend.

That is another option that might be fun.

Thanks again....I still would just be happy to stay on the ship

till.......whenever:D

Just got off the Connie on Saturday and we asked if we could leave later as our transportation arrangements had changed. We were told the last time would be 9.30am. We also had friends remaining on for a back to back but that didn't make any difference, 9.30 is the deadline.

DH & I usually make a point of being just about the last ones off the ship. Like Brigitte said, it makes finding your luggage SO easy.

9:30 is pretty much the limit, as others have stated.
