mexico port pharmacy

i was reading awhile back that some women were getting tubes of 'retin A' in a port pharmacy without a perscription... does anyone know what port this is?

I do not know what port someone was referring too but it could have been Ensenada. The pharmacy is right outside where the ship was, maybe 100 yards away.

thanks for the input, but i did a search on it and found out it's in belize right in the port shopping center... i searched 'retin A' and found the old post... thanks!

I was in Ensanada lat year and you CAN get the Retin A there at the pharmacy at the port. I am a phamacist and I was curious about the prices. I think it was $12.00 for a 30 gm tube.

You can get Retin-A at any Mexican "Farmacia", and it doesn't matter which port. It runs about $10-12.00 US a tube, and you don't need a prescription. However, be very sure about the strength you buy, and check it out before you leave the US. The tube comes in a box, and it's in Spanish, as are the directions. Retin-A comes in three strengths, so make sure you know what you want, and how/when to apply....unless you can read Spanish!

That is a good point! Make sure and ask questions about all the drugs you buy in Mexico. Sometimes they look different in color and/or size that they do in the US. If you are in doubt or cannot get a straight answer, don't buy!
