Soccerfan Posted May 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2006 Hi If your going soon I would think it's too late to try to get a booking for a good excursion that is not booked through Carnival. We are travelling this week on the Liberty Med cruise and have booked for the Freedom April 2007 cruise. I contacted the guide we wanted for our Turkey tours in 2007 and believe it or not he was already booked! I suggest that you go into the Roll Call for your sailing and post there, someone may have empty seats on their excursion that you can join. Best of Luck and have a great trip!:)
serene56 Posted May 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2006 Start by searching and reading the Port of Calls board. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19 Not jsut the Med cruises but excursions booked through the cruiselines are aways more expensive then doing it yourself. BUT you also want to check time restraints--if an excursion is an all day thing you will want to pay the money and take the ships excursion so not to miss the ship-- It will not wait for you unless you are on a ship sponsered tour.
