Merkur Posted June 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2004 Ideas needed on what to do in St. Johns. Is the shopping good. Any Brewpubs? Is it worth the trip out to the Bay of Fundy? Paul
sweet sheep Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 CRUISING TO cANADA/New England in October. Have signed for the St. Martin tour to the Bay of Fundy and Hopewell rocks. This is a very historic place and no where elses on earth can you see what takes place there. Check out their website (I can't find it right now) St. John New Brunswick

daWoods Posted July 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Don't be, most people from "away" do. However, if you're going to check websites, that's the spelling you'll need. :)
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2004 :) St John's, Newfoundland. We went to the Bay of Fundy a couple of years ago. We didn't get to see the river reversing because of the tides. It does it twice a day and you have to know when it is actually going to happen. Unfortunately cruise ships and independent tours can't plan their schedule around the tides. :)
