Ft. Lauderdale spring break?

We are considering booking a cruise 3/3-3/11 out of Ft Lauderdale. Is this during spring break? Will we run into problems booking hotels, transportation, etc? Will our cruiseship be full of spring break-ers?

Ft.Lauderdale hasn't been a college spring break haven since the 1980s however you may stray across a few spring breakers.

 

It is peak season and hotels are expensive and hard to find that time of year.
