Princess Rail vs. Alaska Rail - Comparison

Can anyone give there opinion of the these two competing rail services from Anchorage to Denali to Faibanks. Princess doesn't highly advertise that you can book rail travel alone, but you can. I am trying to decide between the two. Also, if you have taken Alaska Rail, do you have opinions on the three levels of passage you can purchase?

It's the difference in cars, all end up in the same place. :) I have gone with Alaska RR and they offer very nice cars and my preference for the low price. I have only done their basic service and have ridden the entire line a few times. Princess has beautiful cars but, I really don't like their table seating of 4.

 

A real bargain is using http://www.toursaver.com with their 2 for 1 coupon, a definate deal. Have at least 2 overnights at Denali park.

The Princess cars ar added on to the back of the Alaska train along with the RCCL and HAL cars. The only difference is the price and the cars involved.:)
