Last minute deals!!

Has anyone out there ever taken advantage of those last minute deals that come by mail from the various cruiselines?? If you did how did the air,transfers etc. work?? We are fortunate that we can go last minute but would like to hear from anyone who has done the last minute deals. Thanks for your information.

We have taken advantage of last minute deals that are available through a couple of different websites. They send us e-mails, but we check their webpage at least once a day when we're considering a cruise. We booked our last cruise this way, 18 days out and got a really good deal.

 

We would only consider this for ports that we could drive to (for us that includes Port Canaveral, Tampa, FLL, Miami and JAX). So I can't comment on the air transportation end ...
