Last minute advice

My husband and I are leaving in 2 days to board the Celebration for our first cruise. Yaaaaayyy! We are so excited. Does anyone have any last minute advice - what to do first - what not to miss onboard? Thanks everyone!:)

1. As soon as you board find the nearest crew member carrying the drink of the day and buy one if not two.

2. Find a deck chair somewhere with a nice view.

3. Turn off your cell phone.

4. Now you are on vacation.

 

Take each day as it comes and enjoy every minute of uninterrupted bliss

When you board the ship find find yuor room, head to the buffet, eat drink and have a wonderful vacation.

 

Leave the headache of work, family, and what ever else might cause you stress behind.

Get onboard as early as possible so you can start your vacation early! If you get to the cruise terminal around 11:00 or 11:30, you can be onboard by around 1:00 or so, more than likely.

 

Don't sweat the small stuff. Relax and just enjoy yourselves.

 

Read the Capers to find out what is going on the next day. There are tons of activities, or you can just chill out. Whatever floats your boat!

Bring bungee cords they help to secure your towel in case it is raining & helps you keep your chair...

Make sure next Sat morning that you are up early and ready to get off the ship so they can get it ready for us to board. Just kidding have a great time and leave a little food and drink for us to enjoy.

If you are cold natured I would take a light sweater-some of the lounges and clubs are freezing. I know one more thing to pack -and who'd think you'd need a sweater on caribbean cruise but trust me.

Thank you all so much for responding. We are almost done packing - I'm sure too much stuff, but since it is our first, I would rather be safe than sorry! I can't wait until we set sail!!

Remember to weigh those bags if you're flying! Wouldn't want you to get stuck now with charges for overweight bags! Bon Voyage! :)

Pack everything you think you need and all the things that ppl recommend on these boards then take out.......at least two outfits and one pair of shoes! Take out half your make up and hair products, keep it light! Have a fantastic time!

Have a great time! We are sailing on the Celebration in September, our 5th Carnival cruise!!! (can you tell we LOVE carnival?! LOL)

While waiting to board the ship it is a great time to get to know some of the people that are traveling on the same ship. Its a great opertunity.

Definitely do not miss the Welcome Show on the first evening. It will set the tone - and sometimes the inside jokes for the rest of the week. Have a wonderful cruise!
