Regal Princess - Panama Canal 9/24/06

We are sailing on the Regal Princess on 9/24/06 - LA through the Panama Canal and back to LA. We have sailed before, so we have been to some of the ports. We have never been to Central America. The ports that we will be visiting are Huatulco, Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rico; Fuerte Amador, Panama; Puerto Corinto, Nicaragua; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala. If anyone has visited these ports and could advise us on what to do and see, what is unique to these countries to purchase, please write. We are in our late 60. Thank you.

My DH and I were on the Regal in May and we loved Huatulco. We booked a catamaran tour through Princess. There were only about 15 people on the boat and we stopped to snorkle and swim at a private beach. It is beautiful there, hardly any people, pristine and unspoiled. You will love it!
