Valentino Rossi Posted June 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2006 I've a simple question. Having booked a pre and post hotel in Honolulu through NCL, shall I expect the transportation to and from the pier to be included in the package? It's the Princess Kaiulani in Waikiki, will it be far from it? Thanks Vale
calyn320 Posted June 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Your transfers will be included from hotel to pier and pier to hotel. It is only a few miles between them. HTH
garycarla Posted June 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Sure do. You can check the NCL Website for full details. <click here

zimmerjulie Posted June 15, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Vale, Are you also taking the cruise line air? I ask because the pre-cruise air/transfers, etc. seem to take some people by surprise in how they work. Although it is spelled out in the brochures, website, and ticket contract, people get their vacations off to an angry start when the seating assigments, flight assignments, etc. aren't what they expected. (P.S. the cruise lines don't usually assign seats and the flights can be at inconvenient times, long layovers, not your preferred airport, etc. unless you get the premium air. I don't want you to have any unhappy surprises!) Anyway, back to the question:rolleyes: . Transfers. It is an option to grab a taxi. That way you can get to the pier before the busloads of incoming passengers with cruise line transfers wait for their bus, wait for the bus to fill, then all arrive all at the same time to get in line. Since your transfers are already included, it might be fine and there may be no problems! Just wanted to let you know that if it isn't going right, you have other options, for a little bit extra cost.
Valentino Rossi Posted June 15, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted June 15, 2006 We take air by ourselves... they don't offer air from Italy, and 'cause also I need multicity since I'm then staying in the U.S. Good hint for avoiding queues;)
ParrothdJH Posted June 16, 2006 #7 Share Posted June 16, 2006 when you book your own air, transfers from airport to hotel are not included in package price
