SummerfieldCruiser Posted June 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Do these windows open? Are there any calling caeds that will work in most of Central America:confused:
Druke I Posted June 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2006 I don't believe any modern cruise ships are built with opening windows in passenger cabins. Of course, cabins with balconies have doors that open, usually sliders, but some hinged. Way back when, some ships had deadlights (portholes) that could be opened. Don't know a thing about calling cards!
bepsf Posted June 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2006 All HAL verandah staterooms have hinged glass doors - with the notable exceptions of Prinsendam and PH's on the Vistas (don't know about the S and R Class PH's). ...and no, windows don't open on modern ships since we have very effective AC nowadays.
