Twice_a_year Posted June 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Time is getting close. Sometimes knowing others before the trip helps in having a more enjoyable adventure. John & Pam 60's from Northern NJ Tom & Pat 60's from Northern NJ

Venturagirl Posted July 26, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 26, 2006 I'm doing a rain dance for you out here in California! Well, I WAS dancing up until the temperature here hit 100. Here's hoping the temps in Europe fall and the rivers will soon be on the rise!
hrmgenie Posted July 27, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 27, 2006 My husband, myself, his sister and niece will be on the Pride for this trip. Hope the river levels rise a bit so the Pride has "smooth" sailing.
Twice_a_year Posted July 31, 2006 Author #8 Share Posted July 31, 2006 We are "ocean cruisers" so we are at a disadvantag in planning our dress for this cruise. As it stands now, we plan to dress "quasi formal" for the captians night and the welcome aboard and VERY informal during other times. Although we normally dress appropriately on ocean cruises (Tuxes and gowns) on ocean cruises we expect to be rather informal on this cruise. We would appreciate your intended dress plan. We don't want to be "out of the norm".
Twice_a_year Posted August 10, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted August 10, 2006 My husband, myself, his sister and niece will be on the Pride for this trip. Hope the river levels rise a bit so the Pride has "smooth" sailing. Looks like we will be enjoying comforable river levels on September 3, 2006. I am still I am at loss as to how many "Americans & Canadians" are going to be our travel partners. As you may know us "colonials" tend to dress in a less casual manner than our cousins from across the pond. Please don't think that I have any dislike for the Brits but they then to be a bit more "formal" in their dinning attire. This query relates only to how many of the passengers will be USA/Canadian for the purpose of planning our evening attire. We just don't want to be out of character with the majority of passangers. We don't leave until Oct. 15th so hope you all will post what happened on your cruises. .
