Dress for Alternative Restaurants

Dear RCCL cruisers,

 

DH and I are going on our first RCCL cruise on Serenade OTS in November 2006. We have cruised twice before and like to go to the alternative restaurants onboard.

 

We were on the HAL Westerdam in DEC. 2005-and it was custom for the Gentlemen to wear Smart Casual at the Pinnacle Grill (their alternative restaurant) even if the dress code in the DR was casual for the night? (Most of the time the alternative restaurants will follow the same dress as the DR.)

 

What is the custom at Chops on the Serenade? Just want to know what to pack for DH and I will plan to dress accordingly.
