question about the new boards

i use to be able to have each new post emailed to me.....i cant seem to make that happend now.....am i doing something wrong??

No, I think the mail server isn't working. I don't know when they think it might get going.

 

However, one thing you can do in anticipation is to use the "instant e-mail notification" option for subscribing to threads. You can set it on each reply you make, but you can also set your default to this in User CP -> Edit Options.

 

Once you're subscribed to a thread, if there's any activity on it then the thread will always be listed on your User CP. Frankly, I've found that that's actually good enough for me - I've set my User CP to be my CC board start page (by bookmarking it) so I can always start off by reading the active subscribed threads.
