Can anyone give me some ideas on the best (and most economical!) to get to and from the boat dock? We will be leaving from a hotel in Seattle, and on the way home, we will be going to Sea-Tac

Could you be more vague... "A hotel in Seattle"... :-)

 

As far as the airport, we're using Shuttle Express (http://www.shuttleexpress.com), but there are other providers (taxis, limos, towncars, other shuttles, etcetera). The fare for 1-2 guests from SeaTac to downtown Seattle is $28.75, and the 3rd guest rides for just $4 more.

 

Our hotel provides a free car service within the area, and we're using that from the hotel to the pier, and from the pier back to the hotel.

 

Anything in that part of town is probably less than $10 taxi ride.

For my parents/friends upcoming trip... I'm booking with Metropolis Town Car Service.

 

They quoted me $35 from SeaTac hotel to Pier 66 and the same from downtown Seattle hotel to SeaTac.
