bostonlass Posted July 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2004 I was looking over the description of this excursion on the Princess site and was puzzled that it states "substantial level of activity". Does anyone know why it might state that? I was envisioning taking a lovely catamaran sail to a nice beach, laying out and then enjoying the trip back. I can't see what would be substantial about that level of activity.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2004 :) HAL lists the champagne catamaran Sailaway as "moderate" activity. Maybe it's a lot of walking to get to the champagne? :D :D
bostonlass Posted July 4, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 4, 2004 That's funny!!! Actually now that I think about it you have the option to snorkle so perhaps that is what they're talking about. I can't snorkle because I can't wear contacts so I plan on vegging out on the beach with a nice drinkie poo.....not much activity there!!!
judyjbest Posted July 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2004 The Champagne sail on Carnival states it includes the opportunity to snorkel or swim ...
OCruisers Posted July 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2004 bostonlass .... We've been on The Champagne Catamaran though PRINCESS at least four times and about ALL the energy required is "lifting a champagne glass"! :D Per other posters above, snorkeling is offered so maybe that is why they have to say it's an ACTIVE excursion. Really, it's not. We've always found it to be a WONDERFUL and RELAXING day! Go and have fun! Happy Sailing! OCruisers :)
