High Desert - yes Malaria is a concern in the Game Parks but only in the summer months. If you are visiting in June/July/Aug (ie winter) you will not need to worry about any prophlactics. But you will need to for the remainder of the year.

We just booked the Silversea/Silver Wind,Cape Town to Port Louis,March 2 2005, 11 day cruise.

 

As you have taken this cruise and my mother is interested in the cruise for December '05, would love your comments.
