How's the fishing in Juneau???

On Friday, July 28, we will be in Juneau and have a fishing excursion planned for salmon. Just curious on the salmon run and if anyone is catching anything and what they are catching.

We were there in early july and was rained out, But the captain said we might have some luck but said it was getting late in the season for king salmon. Coho run later. A couple of days later we hit a bumper crop of Halibut as they are in season now!!!

Coho 6 Jul - Sep 5- 20 lbs. Excellent

Pink 6 Jun - Aug 3-10 lbs. Good

Chum 6 Jun - Sep 8-20 lbs. Good

Sockeye 6 Jun - Jul 5-8 lbs. Excellent
