Explorer Of The Seas New England/canada Cruise?

Well I just got back from my first cruise but too bad it was on the Crown Princess that almost killed us. I will say it was extremely scary and I thought we were all going to die. but anyway I don not want this incident stopping me from cruising forever. I will avoid Princess for a while just because of the experience. My question is does anyone here have any information or experience of the "Explorer of the seas" New England/Canada cruise? I am dying to go into this area and this ship looks AWESOME! Any info would be greatly appreciated. I will not go on a cruise for another year or so but am still looking at which to do next. No one at all? No thoughts at least on the ship itself? What kind of difference in Royal's product and Princesses product?
