Coupons for use on board?

Recommended Posts

The coupons you are talking about may be the booklet you receive when you have cruised Royal Caribbean before. If I remember it was buy 1 drink get one free, a free picture when you purchase a photo from the photo shop etc. The coupons usually arrive in your cabin the first or second day.

The coupon book includes coupons for: casino, bet $5.00 and double the bet on table games, free wine tasting seminar, buy one get one free photo, a spa discount, buy one get one free drink, I think a buy one get one free bingo card, and some other things that I can't remember right now. Also the little gift changes from year to year...last year we were given fanny packs and this year it appears to be little radios.

Thanks for the info but is that 1 book per room or person
DW & I are both Platinum members, so we both receive a book each. The booklets are different depending on whether you are a Gold, Platinum or Diamond C&A member.

We always use....Free Drinks, Bonus Casino Play, Picture / Portrait. There are also coupons for free internet minutes which easily covers a few quick emails home to check on the kids.

One posters idea about leaving them in your cabin for the next guests, although a very nice thought is probably not going to work. I would assume the room steward will throw away anything left in the cabins.

If you are both Crown and Anchor members, you will get on booklet per person. If they are not in your cabin upon boarding ask your cabin steward(ess). If they don't know anything about the books, stop to see the onboard Loyalty Ambassador.

My TA also gave us some "Travel Journals" before we cruised that had coupons similar to the ones in the C & A onboard booklets. The ones we got expired June 30, 2004, so don't know if there is a new version of the books out now, or if that was a limited promotion.

We just returned from the Jewel. My wife and I both received a discount book for Diamond members. It had great coupons that I used - especially the $2 for $10 of slot play. There were three of them in each book for $12 of free cash for us. Of course we played them off but since they just gave us the cash we could have walked away with no play.

We compared notes with others and it apprears the books are different for different levels of past cruiser.

I hope this helps.
