Capt. Larry's

I will be cruising in just 2 days, but have read a lot about Capt. Larry's. Is it too late for me to call them and book? Also, what is the cost going with him vs using a excursion from the cruise lines? Also, I guess it would help if I had Capt.Larry's phone number too. Thanks.

I am not familiar with RCCL excursions, but HAL has a whale watching and wild life quest for $115. Captain Larry's price for the day we are going is $114.45. I have been with Captain Larry before and feel very comfortable going with him again. I noticed on his web site that he has a new boat, I assume that it is equipped with the hydrophone to listen to the whales talking/singing.

Of course, it is still your decision--but I still vote for Captain Larry.

With most Alaska independents, it isn't about significant cost savings- it's the superior tours. :) Orca Enterprises is probably my top vender recommendation in Alaska, since I have been going with him for a LONG time. :)
