The Concierge should be Anshuman Sumbli and the butler depends on which cabin you are in.

PE - Is Anoop going back to being a Butler when Anshuman gets back, or does he get moved to another ship as Conceirge?

Thanks PE. We will be in AD 10226. I'm sure the butler will be great no matter which one it is.

I don't know who was on deck 10. I know Ravi was handling the Garden Villa and John was on deck 10. Someone from the repo might chime in know who was on deck 10.

Sorry.

Hi, I'm sailing on the Jade on Jan 3rd (deck 8 AE), does anyone know who the Butler and Concierge might be?

Thanks :)

Just got off the JADE 11/14 ... Totoram was our Butler. But he asked us to call him Mr T. or T:)

Ruth was the Concierge but will be going to the GEM. Not sure who will take her place.

Thanks very much. What deck were you on? My 9 year old son would love having a butler called Mr T :D.

Any news on who will be replacing Ryan on the Gem? We sail in January and it was mentioned that Ryan will be leaving in December.

I heard that Adrian Bica is the temp Concierge on the Gem, until February. He was the casino manager on the Gem in April this year when we did the Transatlantic and he treated us very well. I'm sure he will put a lot of energy into the job.

This are the same folks who did the final cruise, along with Captain Ronny Borg and of course Klaus in civilian clothes and not a uniform.

In case anyone was wondering, Denny Anderson is being retired with the ship, and not by his choice. I forgot to ask Brian Walters where he was going, but did hear Denny say that Brian was with NCL for 31 years and assume he has another assignment pending. Florentina will be going home to Romania for 2.5 months to see her baby, and then joining the Jade in the Mediterranean for the next 6 months.....

Good information. I'm guessing Florentina will be on the Jade for our 2/14/10 sailing then? How was she as your concierge? We have been spoiled by Anca on the Star last year and Alex Forbes on the Gem this year. We're hoping to be spoiled again in February!

I was in Courtyard villa 14512 on the Gem for the transatlantic 11/29/09 to 12/12/09. Ryan Rabe was the concierge and Andy Steinhauser was the cruise director. Hotel Director Prem Kannikkara and Food and Beverage Director wonderful Tony Lockett. My butler was Aries Atienza who was fabulous and cabin steward Mickle Crisostomo was wonderful too. Everyone in courtyard area was great. I also got to see the deluxe owner suite on deck 15 and the garden villa because the people who were in them graciously offered to show them to us.

If any one wants to sift through pictures feel free to take a peak. i warn you though there are lots of them.

It's been a month since anyone posted updates on this thread. Anyone have any information they would like to share? I saw one specific request from someone asking if Julie Valeroite (sp?) is still the CD on the Pearl, and how long she might be there.

FYI: There are lots of CC'ers who like to follow certain key staff members, and many more who like to know in advance which ones will be on their cruise. This thread is very helpful in that regard, and is so because of the cooperation of those who post after they return from their cruise.

Thanks

I'd love to know the lineup for the March 27 cruise of the Star:D

I wonder if I will see any familiar faces. I hear that Hamish is currently the cruise director, but I wonder if that will change before then. I guess I should just be patient, but my cruise excitement has really kicked into high gear and I just can't get enough info:p

A perfect reply, and a model for others to follow if they can.

Looks like you had a good team, as I'm quite familiar with Sean, he's great, as well as Jose and Paul Baya. Did you happen to notice a Maitre' D by the name of Laura Borut, possibly Cagney's

We had the most wonderful Maitre' D in Cagney's and we also saw her around Crossroad's but I didn't get her name. Sorry.

We were on the TA going over in April and Aries is the best butler we have ever had.

Laura is from Romania, cute, short hair, frosted look maybe (?), distinct accent, and her kindness and professionalism shine!!

Maybe! Does she have a bum knee/ankle? Does she walk with a limp?

OceanDreams

Not the last time we saw her, which was in January, 2008.

I just happened to respond to another active post, about our favorite Maitre' D, which of course is Laura.
