Joedog Posted July 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Does anyone know which are typically the formal/semi formal nights on the Z's Western Carib run?
spcl4cs_gal Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Usually the two days at sea would be the formal nights but with HAL's schedule change that could put them on the day of late arrival in Cozumal as well as the day between Grand Cayman and HMC. F5Loar Posted July 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2004 I've heard it's up to the Captain on when to have it and he can change his mind at anytime. As someone mentioned things change and it could happen on your week. You will have 2 formal nights the week you go. That's pretty much all you need to know before you go. Just as sure as you plan something based on what you read and heard here it will different the week you go so don't blame us if we can't read the Captain's mind the week you are going. Krazy Kruizers Posted July 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2004 :) Agree with everyone - the captain can change the dress code acording to what fits his schedule. We have been on cruises where the captain changed the dress code without any warning. An annoucement was made over the PA and during the morning every cabin got a notice about the evenings dress code. When you get to your cabin, there will be a daily program that will list the dress code week's 2 formal nights, 1 informal night, and the 4 casual nights. That should help you plan on what night you may want to plan anything different. :)
Ellya Posted July 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2004 We just took that cruise and our 2 formal nights were the days at sea. The informal night was the night leaving Grand Cayman.
