Petoonya Posted August 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Hi, I am looking at flying from Barcelona to Venice after a cruise. The most economical one way flight is on an Italian airline-Alpi Eagles. Wonder if anyone has ever flown them? Seems as tho small European carriers come and go overnite- and I am not airline savvy. Hoping Globaliser will weigh in- or anyone else? Thanks kindly. Nancy
Globaliser Posted August 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2006 I haven't flown them, but they've been around for a few years. I remember recommending them to my family as an option for doing the reverse journey after a cruise last summer (2005) which, ultimately, had to be cancelled. I wouldn't have had any hesitation booking this airline for that trip because they were a good option.

Normandie-BCN Posted August 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Vueling use to be cheaper that Alpi-Eagles... and new planes: http://www.vueling.com/EN/index.php
dbh62ark Posted August 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Nancy, be sure to look at the luggage limits for that airline. We are considering that airline from Naples to Milan next year, and the luggage limits are very low for those traveling with cruise luggage (a 2+ week trip). Also, the web site was not working in English when I last checked it. Have a great trip, Donna
