What is this feature and would I be wise to do it?

You check-in online and print out your SetSail Pass (similar to an online boarding pass for an airline). It just saves time at the pier as you just have to sign the SetSail Pass there.

Yes you would be wise to do it.

 

That way you are not standing there tearing out all the pages from your cruise documents. OR, if you forgot to fill them out, to do that at the terminal and hold yourself up.

 

the online check in is simply one way to expedite your embarkation. You will have all the information already typed into the RCI system and with your set sail pass printed the bar code will automatically cross check.

 

So you go up to the counter...Hand them your set sail pass...your id....your credit card to swipe (BE SURE TO USE THE SAME ONE YOU REGISTER ONLINE)...get your seapass and you are done.

 

We really enjoy it even though we still prefer getting hard documents rather than the edocs.

Remember, though, you can't print your SetSail Pass until after final payment is made. I made our final payment on line the other day, and was ready to print the document immediately.

Good point, Pumbaamd...I forgot that one. :) Then again, I don't have a final payment staring me in the face until we book our next one.
