phenomenal Posted August 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2006 Just wanted to know if Vision of the Sea has any speciality nights ie.... 70's night? I also would like to know if I don't drink soda should I purchase a soda card for lemonade and iced tea? Sailing on Aug.
cb at sea Posted August 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2006 No--if tea and lemonade are ok with you, don't buy a soda card!!!!! Tea and Lemonade are included in your cruise cost! If you want a soda once in awhile, just buy one! It's like $1.50, I think. I believe all the ships have the "themed" nights--but I never pay attention to them, so I can't say for sure! CulverCityCruisers Posted August 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2006 Remember, that you can always pack some soda in your suit case and take it on board with you. We always bring bottled water packed at the bottom of our suitcase because they charge 2.50 or 3.50 for the water bottles in your room.
dougp26364 Posted August 7, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2006 generally they have a theme night, they just don't bother to let anyone know what it is until after you've boarded the ship. I think most of the time it's always been something like a 70's night or a C&W theme night. Since very few people seem to dress up for them, probably because very few know about them until after they're onboard, I quit worrying about them. It's seems to be more of a thing for the cruise directors staff to have fun with than anything else.
