SmokinActuary Posted August 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2006 I have a balcony room booked on the Zuiderdam and I was curious how noisy can it get from people milling on the Promenade deck below? Thanks
jhannah Posted August 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2006 You shouldn't hear anything from inside your cabin. People down below are usually just sitting in the wonderful deck chairs or walking and carrying on normal conversation.
Bohrski Posted August 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2006 I had a cabin this summer on the Zaandam lower promenade deck which was right outside the window. I heard no noise from people outside even when they were sitting by my window. The only noise was from the men cleaning the deck and washing the windows in the morning. I was awake around 5 AM so as not to miss a minute of the beautiful Alaskan scenery so I did not mind that. No one ever looked in the window either and you can't see in unless it is dark outside and you have lights on inside. Having a cabin on this deck was almost as good as having my own veranda!
