Is it possible to stay here without a car? We would be coming in on the ARR. If it is necessary to have a car..can one be rented in the Denali area for getting around? Or is it even feasible since no vehicles are allowed much into the park itself? Thanks

You have to have a car to stay at Touch of Wilderness. There is one car rental that I suggest you strongly consider, if you want to stay outside of glitter gulch. :) http://www.alaskanchateau.com/

 

Especially arriving by train, it is so much better to have your own transportation at Denali Park, for the unlimited activities and direct access to shuttle buses. With a rental, be sure to consider driving the public road in the evening. I always see moose and last year, spent an hour watching 3 bears. :)
