Vigo to Santiago transportation

Recommended Posts

Any contacts to set up driver from Vigo to Santiago and back? Several of us on upcoming Royal cruise looking to get this transportation. I've been burning up the net looking for this, but should have come to the real experts here first!

Train schedule doesn't work for the times we're in port. Rental car doesn't look like good option either.

We were in Vigo last year in September on the Noordam and we went with another couple from the ship to Santiago for the day. We hired a taxi as soon as we left the ship and arrranged with him to take us to Santiago, leave us there for a few hours and then return at a certain time to pick us up. There were plenty of taxis available.

We spent quite a few hours there, it is a lovely city. It is a University town as well as the centre for pilgrims and has lots of lovely restaurants.

He returned on time and drove us back to the ship. We paid him when we arrived back and I think it cost us around 70Euros each couple. It is a fair distance, about 45 minutes on a freeway - about 90km. We found that the train timetables wouldn't work for us as well.
