Any Ideas for Long Casual Black Dress

Good question. Brings to mind a similar dress I've got but never worn because it's too long:( . It's black, short sleeves, very casual, comfy cotton. I like the idea of a scarf at the waist to "bring it up" and dress it up a little.

 

Where can I find a colorful and long enough scarf (online) to double as a belt? I prefer shopping for items like this online, I hate malls!:eek:

Just an FYI; I actually found the cutest scarf at the Dress Barn. It's black, white and grey with cat faces on it (I love cats!) and it will go great with the dress as it is very casual. It also solved the problem of the length of the dress being too long. I've had the dress for 3 years and never wore it because of the length.

If you have a Casual Corner Store in your area, they have black dresses made out of matte jersey. They also have coordinating jackets. I bought one from Casual Woman in our area. They travel great!
