Balconies on Splendour of the Seas

We are looking to book a D1 cabin on the SOS for a South America tour in March 2008. There only appears to be D1 cabins on Deck 7 - are there any cabins with bigger balconies than others?

 

Does anyone know which are the best/worst cabins on this deck?

The cabins across the back of the ship are three times as deep as those on the sides of the ship.

 

Beware, the walk to the room is long.

We had a mid-ship balcony on the port side ... only 5 cabins from the rear Centrum ... very convenient location. I'd book it again in a heartbeat.
