CB Aft Baha deck mystery doors

Does anyone know where the doors beside B748 and B749 on the CB lead to?

I was told they are emergency doors. The staff uses them.

I believe they lead to public balconies on the corners of the stern. (I'm told they do on the unmodified Grand class, which are very similar ships aside from the extra deck, etc.)

Since it seems these doors are on all the aft decks, I was hoping for a stairway. Sure would be great for going to the aft adult pool! I do think I read somewhere that this may be a stairway, but I could be wrong. Could be just wishful thinking on my part!!:D

It is a stairway leading down from the aft pool. At least it was on the Star Princess.

Sorry to burst your bubble on this. They are stairways, but only for emergencies. In fact, that's how you will go to your Musterdrill in Club Fusion if you are in your cabin getting yourt life jackets right before muster. You'll get your life jackets and walk down those stairs. That will be the only time the doors will be open, unless there is an emergency.:(

You can get to the aft pool through the Riviera Deck aft door. Baja is on Deck 11 and Riviera is on Deck 14.
