I know that many of you were following the results. And since I saw its last dying gasp, and knew that its death was only moments away, I preserved the last available data, rounded to the nearest percentage point:

 

Yes, and I really wish they would: 197 voters, 57%

Yes, but I think things are fine the way they are: 95 voters, 27%

Not sure, but probably yes: 29 voters, 8%

Not sure, but probably no: 9 voters, 3%

Definitely not!: 16 voters, 5%

TOTAL VOTERS: 346.

Perhaps we need to find a way to create a comment-free poll. :D

The problem is that I'm trying hard not to get this thread poofed, too! :o

 

I think it all started when the holocaust was brought up as a valid comparison to the subject of the poll. Let your imagination take it from there. :eek:

Maybe a solution would be to eliminate 90% of the rules and strictly enforce the remaining ones. Of course, then we'd still all argue about why such and such is no longer a rule, and why do they have no kids in the hot tub rules, etc.

 

When I was a schoolteacher I found it more effective to choose my battles very carefully (few rules), but be consistent about those I did choose.
