The s.s. REMBRANDT, former s.s. ROTTERDAM, under tow by the Polish tug Englishman, is due to arrive in Gibraltar on Sunday 11 July between noon and 04.00 pm.

It's great to see that the trip went well.

 

As 20-somethings, we sailed Rotterdam in 1973, Cabin U62, and we still remember our cabin steward's name. We'll be glad to visit, and hopefully stay on this classic.

Sigh. She was still tied up at dock in March when I was in Freeport. She was a classy old liner

On 12 July (one day late), she arrived safely in Gibraltar.

I am working on photo-albums of which two are finished.
